POLO COMES TO BATH

The last few weeks, my team and I have been immersed with all things Polo.  We have been talking chukkas, treading of the divots, horses, goals and mallets!

I love going to the polo - its always such a sociable day out and  I have been thinking for some time now about bringing this fine sport to Bath. And now this is just what we are doing.  Polo comes to Bath on Saturday 23rd May at the Bath Racecourse and we are going to have a great day.

There will be loads of things that will make this a superb day: brilliant entertainment for kids, stalls, some fundraising for Breast Cancer Care, undoubted blue skies but it's the polo that I really can't wait to see.

The Ladies Diamond International Team made up of Lucy Taylor, Tamara Vestey, Nina Clarkin and Emma Tomlinson have agreed to play and take on an all male side put together by the Longdole Polo Club.  If anyone has seen these girls together, they are quite formidable and an absolute pleasure to see in action.  I know that polo is a demanding sport physically and therefore men often have the advantage over female players but think I am tempted to put a small bet on the ladies.
