After the excitement of the Heineken Cup last weekend it's back to the Guinness Premiership and this weekend sees Saracens holding on to the top spot with only one point between themselves and the London Irish. The second place team find themselves hosting the fifth placed Leicester tomorrow afternoon.

Wasps and Northampton continue to remain in contention in third and fourth respectively, while Bath languish in eighth.

The question remains how long the ambitious Saracens can stay at the top. Back row Michael Owen has now ruled himself out of the rest of the season with a knee ligament injury picked up in the European Challenge Cup. The pressure will undoubtedly be on for Saracens as they face Leeds Carnegie, who, despite being twelfth will arguably have nothing to lose.

Remember you can drop us a line if you fancy attending a Guinness Premiership game in style, we offer the best in rugby hospitality and in our anniversary year the best got better with our special offers!

Three weeks into the new season and we've already seen some great rugby and impressive performances. Both Saracens and Wasps seem determined to battle it out at the top of the table and are both on three wins out of three.

However injuries have begun to rack up for international players. Jordan Turner-Hall is the latest player to go on the injured list with surgery needed for his shoulder. He joins Riki Flutey who Turner-Hall was expected to replace, also out with a bad shoulder.

As well as them, on the list are Toby Flood and Sam Flutey from Leicester and Delon Armitage, whose shoulder is dislocated.

All of this will be worrying news for England as they prepare for the Autumn Internationals against Australia, New Zealand and Argentina. It's a shame to see such promising players fall out of crucial positions, but it will be up to the resolve of the England team to see them persevere.

My main latest blog is below this, but I wanted to quickly update you on something I know you have probably lost sleep about - my upgrade.

I wrote the last blog having just been told at check-in that there was no chance of an upgrade, despite a contact of mine at South African Airways promising me that privilege.

Anyway I asked at the desk again - and guess what; I got it. So here I am in South Africa well refreshed and ready for my mission and one thing is certain. In 2009 VU Limited will be flying South African Airways!
