It's January and time to banish those back to work blues with thoughts about upcoming events in 2010. If you haven't checked out the tennis at The Queens Club, the AEGON Championship looks like it's going to be fantastic.

And with the news that Schumacher is returning to Formula 1, it's now time to book for the motor racing too. It looks like it will be another great season.

Golf has been in the news a lot recently with Tiger Wood's wife discovering the power a Nine Iron can have on a cheating husband, however despite Tiger's transgressions there's plenty of exciting golf to look forward to in the new year.

First up there's the Open Golf Championship in July and for the 150th anniversary the sport returns to its ancestral seat of St Andrews. We have VIP packages and guest packages available for you to witness the battle for the Claret Jug.

Last Friday the world held its breath as the teams were drawn for the FIFA World Cup being held in South Africa in 2010. At first glance England seems to have been placed in a group with little resistance (or E-A-S-Y - England - Algeria - Slovenia - Yanks as the Sun put it on Saturday morning).

However there's plenty of teams out there that could still prove to be dangerous and lots of fantastic matches even at the group stage such as Portugal vs Brazil and Netherlands vs Holland.
